As we watch the news or read the papers it amazes me how desensitized from tragedy we become..Ive lost count of the road fatalities,natural disasters or crimes that I read about or see on the news that I barely give a second glance or thought..until now..
Friends of ours lost their son last night in a car accident..no other car,no drink or drugs,no hooning,just a tragic accident...to witness first hand the shear length and depth of distress caused will remain with me forever..
Good family..hard working, generous and honest...no favours in this world it seems...
Time for me to go have a chat to that son of mine about youth and invincibility...as that is a knock on my door I never want to receive...
