I think 'less mature' than Nearmap is a pretty significant understatement. Nearmap has been landing Multi year $M+/year government contracts for the last 4-5 years. They have been profitable in Australia for the last 6ish years and then launched into the US in 2014 and have gained significant traction and growth there in the last 12-18 months.
3dp is a toddler, good genes and good gross motor skills. Effort and attitude and a bit of luck over the coming years will help determine whether this company will blossom. Push them too hard, or make some poor decisions early and they could go off the rails.
Nea is a hulking teenager with muscles on their muscles, oily skin and greasy hair but 'elite athlete' is written all over them if they retain the same attitude and keep putting one foot in front of the other.
