The problem is (as far as I know) there is nothing illegal in this person(s) putting in big sell orders and then pulling them.
Sure, to you and I, it is frustrating that they are able to do this and scare the children but how can you make rules to stop it?
Like so many problems, you can't do anything to help others, you can only make yourself stronger as your knowledge grows.
There will always be weakies who will grow despondent as soon as they see a big sell order and they will pull out and sell to the very person who scared them into doing it.
My glass-half-full view of this is that if he wants it that bad then it is probably good that he holds the stock rather than the weakies who sold to him.
Who's going to scare him into selling? No-one beause he knows the game.
