Hi Jk ... there is such a thing as a semi-log scale which you need to use over long time frames otherwise the chart is distorted to the point of being meaningless.
Secondly, the truth is the that the DOW peaked at 12000 (a 100% increase) under Clinton's 8 year presidency and since 2000 has done b*gger all because a fiscal-idiot inhabits the White House.
