If FMG can manage to create their version of the world, so can MNM !!
I am in SA and Roxby Downs last year was found, I think, to have up to 7 times the resource originally thought, copper, gold, uranium etc. in two years time it will be the single biggest mine in the world !!
Imagine the infrastructure problems that creates.
The SA gov has stepped up and is building a massive desal unit in Whyalla and a 600km pipeline to supply the town with water also road, rail, larger airport and so on.
Another entire outback town is on the books for south of Coober Pedy, due to more mining, another 4 thousand people, and 4 Billion Dollars, not a small task !!
I could be wrong but most of this is coming from the SA gov, but more than likely with some federal help.
With all respect we have entered a new era, thank god, and the new junta, as some have described it, are far more receptive to the $$$$.
The unions and greenies have far less sway, IMO, with the fed gov.

A small heavy haul railway down the small Kuranda hill is a small obsticle, if needed, as is the digging out of the port.
SA is in the grip of a large mining boom and it's quite amazing what can and will be done if enough money is thrown at something and gov's want it done.
