Out of curiosity, how commonplace is it for a capital raise to be structured this way?
From my limited Understanding, using a discount to a closing price sometime into the future is just going to cause the price to be pushed down hard, lowering the purchase plan price, meaning more buyers required to meet the capital requirements, thus more dilution.
Regardless of how AVZ has been traveling lately I'm extremely surprised they couldn't scrounge up a lazy 10mil elsewhere that's not so detrimental to the share price.
Does anyone keep in contact with Mr Langford?
How does the companies number one spokesman not have the contacts to sniff out a better deal?
One last thing...are they still using the ridiculous timeline of commissioning a plant in 2020? Please!
