There may have been gaps in the report but there are also some in you argument.
APT are innovative. It is why they have first mover advantage and why others are copying their business model.
Before Amazon and Netflix had their own products or content they relied on selling other companies products. So at least somewhat comparable.
Not really like a credit card at all as they charge no interest, have the ability to reject purchases at any time (rather than just an arbitrary limit) and they don't sell debts to predatory collectors or pass on details to credit ratings providers. Purchases are paid off over 8 weeks, not 10 years (with excessive interest). It is a long way from a credit card (hence why it is popular with the generation who are avoiding credit cards in droves).
