People don't grow their superannuation to take pressure off the pension scheme willial they grow it because it pays them a lot more than the pension would. And many of the people you are talking about claim a part pension anyway so will still get their franking credits refunded.

' IMO nobody should be refunded tax they never paid but I suppose Labor can not risk getting too many of their retired supporters offside just before an election.'
