You guys are getting all worked up based on...nothing. A suspension doesn’t mean anything dodgy is going on, it means they are working on something and need more time. I’d have to go dig for the exact rule, but from memory it says something like along the lines of: if the company is aware of any material news that could potentially impact the share price by +- 5% (10?) then they must immediately enter a trading halt until the news is released to the market. And a trading halt can only last for two days, beyond that it has to change to a suspension.

So just relax. There is something going on behind the scenes which will have an impact on the share price. That’s all we can say for certain. A change to the digicel agreement might mean contracts need to be written, reviewed, and signed. A proposed acquisition might mean more contracts need to be written, reviewed, and signed. While all that is going on the company has to be in a trading halt or suspension. That’s how it works. So putting any blame on buddy is misplaced. Basically all I hear from a bunch of you is “waaaah buddy has a secret and I want to know now!”

I’m looking forward to hearing what it’s all about, and I’m glad none of you can panic sell in the meantime.
