I believe it needs to be made clear that this afternoon board meeting (India time) will include approval to sign the RCA, not to actually sign it.
The trading halt will be in place because the likelihood of getting written confirmation before open tomorrow is probably remote.
Even if we received verbal confirmation this evening (India time) it would not be sufficient for ECT to announce, it must be signed off and in writing which if approved will more than likely be delivered to ECT after market opens tomorrow.
