Atomou, yes you are correct. I in fact resemble/mirror that remark being the son of an immigrant. I am a very strong defender of the Aussie way so I guess you can't blame me for defending it as your statement is true...LOL.
Mainly as it is immigrants who have seen the alternatives and don't want to go back to it. In fact my Dad fly’s a huge Aussie flag out the front of his home. He has been here since the 50's and refuses to leave even for holidays.
Hence I have no issue with immigration (we in fact need the population) so long as everyone who comes is going to work towards building and improving our way of life. BTW Atomou I am glad you could see where I was coming from.
