I own shares. Someone taking the opposite side of my trade, and using my shares to do so is neither here nor there. If I think my stock is going up then naturally I believe anyone taking the opposite trade will lose money. But if it turns out that their trade was the correct one then I need to take responsibility for my trade, not blame the other side.
When you peel back the onion it's very simple. But then again, I don't expect you to stop blaming shorters for bad investments. To take responsibility for ones actions would be madness!
