    Ody

What you say makes all the sense in the world if you believe in funnymentals.

There are a few of us here that called the top last year while the same arguments were being made.

We also called for an Easter low and none of it has anything to do with funnymentals and in fact we argued that it would be a sentiment thing.

No one can predict the real future of economics, because we don't know what geopolitical mishaps will happen.

Do you know what trade tensions will eventuate, how about local wars or even human rights abuses that might cause governments to produce sanctions or climatic and natural disasters, civil wars etc.

Those with the rosey glasses envisage a problem free future, and that is unusual.

Beyond that is sentiment and the undeniable effect of economic cycles that always seem to win.

As far as Australia being the strong sister, that may be the case a little longer but my prediction is that by 2013 it will in fact be us that is hit the hardest in overall market terms.

And sometimes I get it wrong.
