One thing I am thinking about a fair bit is when/if afterpay is going to land a big US whale. I mean in an ideal world it's a Sephora, Ulta Beauty, Nike etc but I think first it needs a big name but lower volume retailer. Lulu Lemon is the one for me, if they landed that then it's game over. It's the perfect match for them. The problem is they have these customers in Australia already (eg Lulu) but haven't been able to convert that into signing the US equivalent. This frustrates me slightly, potentially part of the reason is that US retail just hasn't been beat up as much as Australia and UK and hence aren't as desperate to try new things.

Presumably the headline retailer in the UK will be BooHoo. Their relationship seems fantastic with these guys given the partnership they did. I can just see the BooHoo x Afterpay  advertisements in the tube, would be massive. All this said I think it's easy to get impatient with these guys. Hopefully now we're through Xmas and the sales period and stores start having a think about their targets for this year.
