Malcolm Turnbull does not have a endearing manner. He maybe a successful business man but in my opinion he exudes everthing that the other half of the country//alp supporters dislike and that arrogance will bring him down and also the LIBS down..even further. Perhaps their fall from grace hasnt taught them a thing about the Australian public. Looking for a fair dinkum bloke with some leadership qualities and a team around him to represent the LIBS. From the budget announcements Labour have lots of nice ideas but lack the business accumen and experience of borne and bred business orientated libs. It makes sense that labour orientated people are driven by high ideals of a socialist flavour and so have never had the mindset of business capitalists. The combination of these qualities is difficult to find.
Malcolm Turnbull has to lose the smug smile and Costello has to get real..their arrogance fills the air around them and is distasteful. Aussies like the underdog if you havent noticed and being a good loser..They just dont have it in them.imo. If they stopped trying to impress each other,these men could become statesmen..They have staight As but not some very important human qualities.. OR thats what comes accross. Australia is coming into a time of Financial caos and needs strong leadership with great knowledge.. Rudd has moved quickly to shake hands with the right people around the world and I hope has the team around to grasp this situation fully. We dont need the libs trying to score points cos he hasnt gone to Japan..Really the assie public see it as causing trouble...trouble we dont need.. A pathetic attempt to look good. Come up with strong ideas and help ALP govern AND that will win votes and the label of statesmen.
