"We entered a Margin Loan or as opes called it Equity Finance"
ANZ will be claiming that ALL clients entered into a securities lending arrangement which is why there title to shares is clean. How will they then explain all that stuff on the FSG, order form and website about Margin Lending/Equities Financing? If it wasn't possible to ever have such an arragement with Opes why should it documented? What was the procedure then for opening a margin account with Opes...did any actually exist?
This is the type of questioning that ANZ/Opes will face...they face fraud charges if they try this argument.
