There seems to be a perceived lack of "foreign" investor for FBR as another Yankee has noted for FBR. I also wonder if that is cause of the languish in SP. I highly believe, the risk appetite of the states is significant a lot higher then us Aussies. We've also pumped too much into housing in the last 20 years at least. Hence leaving very little in terms of other investment. Though, technically with our Super, 401K in the US is called I believe,we are all invested in some shares, most of us have no real modicum of understanding when it comes to investing on the share market.

Having said all that, there must be some reason why there isn't more foreign/Americans invested in this. I hope you are right, once OBD happens, the flood gates will be truely open. Still, its always perplexed me as to why, even with the foreign media exposure there isn't many other outside investor. Other then this forum, have you truely seen any news outlet/website in the US that has really ran a story on FBR?

I hold SPL, which does have an ADR, I think once it reached a certain media/investment mass in the US, some banks will most probably use that instead. So in some ways, if FBR does proceed with an OBD and is successful and generate the necessary headlines worldwide, we'll look back at this period of time to be a really cheap period.   Still a lot of risk involved, so don't go buy up the SP on money you can't afford to lose.
