    I'm confused
    the 3 114 806 shares shorted yesterday   (t +4)
    are they including the  shares that shorters are buying back in to close there positions as well as new short positions being taken ???
    Because there has been a lot of churn in the sp since Monday and if these  are new short positions being taken why is the sp going up ??

    any thoughts    thx
