Please help me and give me hope that you are different wotsup
Well just from this site alone, on the Christian front, I am on lonely grounds, no one appears to see the truth of John's opener. So the only tribe if you want to put it that way that I belong to, is God & Jesus as per the Bible.
I' m interested to know which passage from the ones you quoted actually specifies that there will be "NONE AFTER THIS ONE"?
As I am sure I have mentioned a few times, what I have provided is only a snippet and if your up to speed with many other areas, you would not be asking the question, regarding the reference I gave. I would also like to think, one does not have to spell out, all that the Comforter means, entails etc. Basically, but to a lessor degree, what was IN Jesus, was to return along with Jesus, to teach, lead and guide one.
John 12:48 - He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. The Word --> In the beginning was the Word,..............and GOD WAS the Word. Acts 17:31 - Because he (God) hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
John 10:1 - Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. John 10:9 - I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. John 14:6 - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 2:5 - For one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
1 Cor 15:25 - For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. (Death no more).
This very same message is through the OT, it is very clear, before anything, this one Jesus, in the mind and plans of God, all things were going to be, by reason of, for the sake of Jesus etc and that does not change. Rev 21:23 - And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb the light thereof. 1 Tim 6:16 - Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen. 1 John 1:5 - God is Light,..... Psa 119:105, so is His word. ------------------- So it is appearing like, your reading into things, things I am not saying and a lot, it has the flavors of avoidance, diversion, what appears to look like, so you don't have to address some rather serious passages?
It is also looking like, me doing all the answering. So perhaps you could answer a question, considering you have said the likes of, done some serious reading of the Bible --> where in the Bible do you find room to suggest there will be other prophets after Jesus? Are you suggesting the Comforter area John Ch 14 and 16 Failed? Now the last question and I might have it wrong and it's just Waffles take --> does your faith say, Jesus's body rotted away, gone never to be again?
