"Can anyone explain to me how a 100 story building can come down in 8 seconds?
Simple Physics tells us its impossible without explosives."
Explosives don't implode buildings. Its the removal and weakening of the super structural that does. The explosives simply start a collapsing reaction. If all you needed was explosives, implosions would only take a matter of weeks and not months to prepare.
"It came down at the same speed as dropping a rock from the 100th floor to the ground.
So this being fact.....how can cement floors with reinforced steel rods break through each and every other floor at the same speed as a rock can drop through air??"
No it didn't. The falling debris on the outside of the building was moving/falling much much faster then the collapsing building. Watch the scores of video footage and take note of the smaller objects rate of fall in respect to the building.
"So this being fact"
No. Thats your uneducated opinion.
"Buildings do not collapse due to fire either, that is absolute rubbish."
Buildings are supported and braced by carbon steel. Everyone knows that if you heat steel its weakened. It becomes very soft and if the fire is hot enough will even melt it. So if the supporting skeleton of a buildings is weakened its obvious its supporting ability is compromised. Besides it wasn't just the fire that help collapse the building. Remember, a plane smashed into it. The fire weakened it further resulting in the the floors above crashing into the ones below.
Warnie grab a brick and lay it on your foot. Now grab that same brick and hold it 2 mtrs above your foot and drop it. If none of this can be explained to you with physical law maybe a bit of pain would help it to sink in.
