John 4:24 - Spirit the God is and those worshiping Him, in Spirit and Truth should worship. (The Spirit in this regards, there is but ONE Spirit, from which ALL things come from and that is The Holy Spirit). John 17:17 - (Jesus to God) - Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. (His word is also Spirit, John 6:63).
neither knoweth him --> John 1:11 - He (God) came unto his own, and his own received him not. So the Spirit of truth is The Almighty God and Father --> Spirit/Word/Light.
It's that simple wotsup Kam --> The Almighty God and Father is Spirit/Word/Light, hence yes, the Comforter, it is referred to as He and Him and in various contexts, passages the Holy Spirit, God, can also be referred to as, it, this, same etc. Jesus above shows us He, Spirit of Truth is the Father and they are all ONE in the same, therefore I said He, Father will show you and in 14:26, it is made very clear, He, Spirit of Truth, Comforter, Father, God IS the Holy Spirit, are one in the same.
You mention Christians, Catholics and the Pope --> have we ended up on the humor forum and I missed it? I thought you and I were discussing Bible passages, because you have done a reasonable amount of study, reading of it to come to the Faith you follow (used the Bible is part of this finding of yours). If by chance that from my writings thus far, you align me to these above, then I will have to seek our friend Coppo, to help present what I consider the core and necessary truths as in first milk of God, as clearly or some how, I have not relayed this.
So are my findings and spear headed, caused via the Catholics and I am not referring to the timing of the Nicene Creed,...OH no, the abandoned truth were before that period, around 1-150 years after Jesus, hence WHY we have the disunity you picked up on. Most of the other Christian faiths, still have many of these roots, including JW's.
If you don't agree with me saying God is Spirit/Word/Light, all Holy, then look at the following as a hypothetical and answer, if you were God, would you give of your Spirit if you saw people do the following. God --> Spirit, Word, Light, the True light John 1:9. His Spirit the Holy, they create a god the Holy Spirit, meaning, they remove his Spirit and make an idol out of it and naturally if you remove it, you have to replace it with another. The Word IS Almighty God and Father and they take it and give to another. They remove the True light from John 1:9 and give to another. Now we have not even said what they have done to Jesus yet, HOWEVER, WHAT is left of our Almighty God and Father = Zero, and is now made up of another spirit.
2 Thes 2:10 -11 - And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
So lets just say I am right on the Spirit/Word/Light matter --> do you think this (above ref) would well and truly address, answer the disunity matter you rightfully raise?
