I wonder what the PNG government thinks about the proposed amendments to the 2015 mining act. After all PNG has the same number of shares in BOC as does the ABG. The word "corrupt" comes to mind. Does anyone know anything about Caballus Mining? I can see legal challenges on the road ahead. Also what affect this may have on the proposed elections for autonomy is anyone's guess. The PNG government has previously stated its intentions to donate its shares in BOC to the Bougainville landholders. I wonder if the PNG government might have second thoughts?
