Most of the employee options were handed out when the share price was at 40c and climbing. Majority of the options will lapse and will be well out of the money (e.g the 2M, 45c exercise expiring Sept 19).

ResApp have a team of full time employees some of which are ex Apple and Google engineers.

There is immense competition attracting and retaining talent in the AI and machine learning space between all the tech giants.

It's all about people and having them aligned with shareholders is a must.
