ALP in states that seem to be selling anything of worth because they are in debt and councils also exposed to subprime debt ... No wonder the FED LIBs have pulled out the inflation boogyman to put this country in order and have a safety net.
ALP are "new" to the financial game thats been put in place by LIBS and who have their money making partners.. The ashen faces of ALP budget response night showed me that they are just realising what a mess global finances are in and that they are not the ones with the connections. Just a feeling...
Rudd needs to know Australias business connections and needs to regulate the markets that are vulnerable,imo.
LIBs must be relieved to hand it all to ALP but if they dont cooperate/contribute our economy and their business pals will suffer.
I think that it must be "realisation" time for ALP and if Rudd can get over being angry and miffed he could stoop to some capitalist agree bargee and protect our assests.
He offered to represent all Australians and that includes the LIBs sitting on the other side of the room.He instigated a United Australia and its time for LIBs to take him up on the offer.
You dont have to be the Prime Minister to get what is right...it just has to be "right" and have the right guy in power.
The LIBs lost an election..Is government about winning OR governing..I would really like to see a good LIB policy adopted and acknowledged by ALP..and then you know you have a leader.
Australia is like a young man trying to build something and has many debts ...NOT a good place to be in these times. Hope that our leaders are working on that one at all levels.
