    Hi Tig

I never made any claim for Judaism prohibiting polygamy. I was comparing Christianity and Islam.

Jesus and Paul quote: “Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh” (Genesis 2:24). That verse is cited by Jesus and Paul as decisive in the meaning of marriage today. And the meaning focuses especially on this leaving parents and cleaving to one wife and becoming one flesh with her. That one flesh reality is profoundly compromised by polygamy.

You can't have it both ways. You quote Genisis which the Jews wrote to back your argument and then say that there is nothing in Judaism that prohibits polygamy. And if the Jews believed in it, then Jesus must have believed in it also. How many wives did king David and king Solomon have?
Or are you saying that Jesus changed the law?
And by the way, the Mormons who are Christians do not agree with you.

If you still are having problems with your pecker because of gays and radical feminist laws, don't go and see the film "On the basis of sex". It will make your blood boil.
And don't read the age this morning. It has a story on Kirkby getting married.
    You better stay in bed.

You still have not explained the cause and effect that you claim.

    Pear
