Can't say we've noticed any drop off in insect numbers generally. Butterflies still about.
We had to have a dangerous redgum removed and found a highly active native bee hive that had started up in a hole in the trunk.
We now have a trunk that has been cut off at 2m level which looks really weird but the bees are thriving.
European honey bee numbers are probably down. Not like the days as kids when running through the clover in Spring always guaranteed some stings.
