Ill tell you a story, a friend of mines wife had her car vandalised drunk hoods jumping on the roof as she watched from a safe distance.
She rang the police but they never came, she later wrote a letter to the local paper complaining about the inaction, there was an article in the paper but it had been completely fabricated to show what a great job the local police had done.and made her out to be a dill.
Then my friend was followed to work for the next 5 weeks by an unmarked car and stopped for 3 random checks over the same period.

The best police story i heard was the Royal Commission forcing Queensland Police to start doing their jobs properly in the late 1980's..after they'd gotten away with under-policing for way too long..and being blood-suckers on the veins of Queensland public. I've done nothing that makes me worried about ASIC bothering me..Same for the overwhelming majority of posters here too i bet..We want them-to-do what our taxes pay & mandate them to do
