The undeniable fact being that the words attributed to Jesus were not written by Jesus.You can't change that fact by trying to invoke the 'Holy Spirit'
The words of Jesus's were the words of God, The Spirit of truth and those words a Spirit, living and active as in, the Word of the LORD said unto me and the Spirit of the LORD said into me, God said, God said. So God come to the authors, Spirit of Truth and hey presto, we ave Da Bible, reasonably in tact.
However --> John 8:47 - He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
As the likes of what Jesus said to the woman at the well, you know not what you worship, as in the DBT is NOT in a position to assess this matter with truth and neither are they able to say it is not truth as they have no idea, based on their own words, spirit of them.
