I've always enjoyed this thread, talking about possibilities which is generally the reason why anyone invests in a company.

Galaxy sure is getting beaten around, no shipping, YOP still being worked on and Sal De Vida has little information other than planning to do conventional processing along side investigating direct extraction which speeds the process up incredibly.

i tend to like to use Hot Copper as my way of thinking. Sending out my thoughts and hoping someone comes back with a perspective different to my own. Sometimes I bounce back negatively to see how far they can take their view to prove that it is plausible.

Recently I have pointed out how good the share price going down can benefit the company. It's quite obvious that the company being under valued allows the opportunity for a share buy back which to me is beneficial to all holders.

We know that Livent has not as yet persued their own construction plans and in the next few weeks will end up being entirely spun off.

In my mind this is what they are waiting for before making any forward plans announced. Perhaps we might be a part of that, we don't know but it appears logical.

Livent have their own special process, but I am not sure how direct extraction that might be.

POSCO have a plan on the northern Salar to construct a Lithium Phosphate plant and (I dunno if this word is right) ironically Galaxy have an interest in Lepidico that has a process that produces  lithium chemicals from Phosphate bearing minerals.

Allow me to skip across to Nemaska, who have been using Lithium  Sulfate to prove their converter in Canada.

So what if Lepidico are able to take lithium Phosphate from POSCO and rather than using the high energy demanding PosLX are capable of producing lithium carbonate.

To me it is all about speeding up the process and reducing liabilities such as weather being involved for instance.

There is also ADY that have their own direct extraction process on the Rincon. Not to be confused with AGY.

From what I can work out the high magnesium levels have made it difficult, predominantly because Magnesium is difficult to separate from lithium.

I am trying to gather my thoughts here that's all. Perhaps the company with partners will bring it all together and make direct extraction work.

To me, Sal De Vida is the ideal location for a direct extraction process to work because of the low impurities. I have looked at other locations that it might work but POSCO have been dancing around various locations some of which I won't bring up here to not come across as negative of those resource.

People complaining about the company secrecy which I have done from time to time are warranted, but at the same time if you are working on something revolutionary you don't want your competition to be able to use it also.

So at times and even now I wonder if by joining the dots I am not potentially risking that but at the same time I am only joining dots from some fairly obvious locations that appear logical to me.

Hopefully this information helps others out there and they find another dot to bring together.

It seems to me in this online world that negativity is more rewarded than actually thinking things though.

So @airconditioner I realise you won't reply to me on this one, but perhaps we can place this in the vault as something we can reference back to.

One more thing, over floater road had some great grades but to the north west they are said to be even better.

Hopefully this post was informative and anyone reading it got something out of it which for me is what any HC post should be about.

    All the best!
