Well my take on the offtake agreement starts with a clue from the announcement last year.... 2.1 yr to payback $141M for the processing plant.

So lets say 1 year to build the plant then we only need finance for 3 years then the processing plant money is paid back. Im not an investment banker but being tight maybe we could get a loan from a Japanese bank..... secured by our Japanese partner? Partner only has to come up with the  interest payments for 3 years on the loan ...say 7M + 5M + 3m over 3 years = 15M plus something for risk. maybe the risk can be paid off by securing a binding off take agreement for 7 years?. then the $15M could buy into AGY based on AGY share price every 12 months ...Market cap might be 500M in 12 months and plus 100m every 12 months after that....so the offtake funder would only perhaps end up owning say  7/500 + 5/600 + 3/ 700 =  just under 3% of AGY. Lets be generous and say 5% of AGY.

so the lucky investor gets 5% of AGY, and secures 7 years of Li (70,000T) and makes a Lot of money using the Li.?
