Valid points. I will have to respectfully disagree only on the part of pinning down a more specific time frame. Part of being a successful commercial organisation, it's their job to deliver, part of that delivery is setting milestones, and to do that they need to know what steps need to be taken and pushing to get there. Emphasis on pushing in that they do all in their power to see it happen as quick as possible. When I read 'plan to' or 'intend to' it straight away throws up some red flags, that they're not on the front foot of this process and that detailed plans are not in place. If for example the announcement had read something like "preliminary review by FDA to commence on..." implies they're on the front foot with the process, that they've got all there i's dotted and t's crossed and are proactive about getting it done.

It could just be their wording, they could have detailed plans in place which I hope is the case, but 'plans to' and 'intends to' with no real specific timeline attached just comes across passive to me. I've skin in the game so their success is important to me, small aspects like this, that don't cost anything to give specifics in an update, go a long way to addressing the confidence issue that exists.
