"jeez we need a good news injection" - jeez we absolutely do!

We're long overdue for some pivotal results, especially in the USA.  We still don't have the croup results.  Looking at the Australian results, croup should be our stand-out star condition for crying out loud.  If we miss that in the US trial it absolutely crush any confidence I still harbour about our ability to conduct a successful trial in that country.

And while we wait with strong positive expectations for the upcoming Australian trial results, it's difficult to know how much importance to place on good Australian results when we haven't been able to replicate our success anywhere else.  After all, the ability to replicate experimental results is a critical part of the scientific method.

I wonder what kind of credibility we really have in the rest of the medical world.
