LICs are essentially company shells that hold positions in other companies. NO LIC should position itself in stocks with poor liquidity. The issue for LICS below 50Million is that they are illiquid themselves and very difficult to get out off.
Focussing on LICS greater than 100M will remove one of the risks....just one.
