The Problem with rock phosphate is that you need heaps of sulphuric acid to leach the rock.
Unfortunately in Angola they don’t have any large smelters that produce the acid as waste, further due to the current high cost of shipping and lack of handling infrastructure I believe that it would be prohibitive to import it.
