Be very wary of this offer. Seems too cheap. The Age article today suggests so at 7 times price earnings at $0.80.

The syndicate bidding includes someone whom sold their business to FUN once before. If he wants to buy in he must think they are cheap at the offer price. Or why would he want that business (and others back). Remember the old saying 'Only one Alan Bond (Channel 9) comes along in your lifetime - K Packer'. Lets not let Tony Oates and FUN become the Alan Bond and Channel 9.

The consortium Archer Capital Ltd are known for lowball bids on good companies 'having a rough trot'. Rember DCA. Hope directors act in best interest of shareholders and have not lined up equity in consortium or acquiring entity. Note - bid conditional upon directors unanimous approval.

Why would directors whom have paid as much as $1.40 to $1.18 per share recently considering that price reasonable value, not suggest that they would not accept the offer of $0.80? Not less than 12 mths ago the company was trading at $1.80. And debt is being reduced and product range is better.

    cheers
