How do you define “significant reductions” in Capex and Opex? Capex-wise, LPD will save $10m out of the $45m budget, that is 22%. We heard Nemaska’s project now requires $1.4 billion. I’m not sure of the split between the spodumene plant and It’s hydroxide plant. Since AJM and PLS have built their spodumene for I think 200-300m, the hydroxide plant is the one that has proved to be their poison - potentially their Hydroxide plant costs $1 billion. They should be taking to LPD now, they might be able to salvage their project.
Again for Opex, how do you define “material savings?” It can’t be lower than 10%. Hence I’ve used $1k as an example in my post. A company will not allow a major disruption of its operation if its to save only a penny. Loh-Max game changer!
Cheers
