If labor needed to buy Green Votes to win an election they would do it.
That could see them promising to kill the project.
Of course, in politics, nothing is guaranteed, remembering most of the enviro feasibility work was done while Labor was in power.
And against winning green votes they would need to balance delivering on their economic credentials (always a tough one for Labor) - and LCK in full production would generate royalties (and God knows we need it).

The outcome of all this is unknown - that's called risk.
