The current management team is not going to be adding any value to this company.

ROE aside, you only have to take a walk through some of their stores to see a growing issue.

Stores are overstocked and what they do have is no longer at a significant price discount to other retailers, and in many cases are at the same or a higher price than other retailers.

Items that used to be a decent discount can now be found price matched in major stores or will be available cheaper on the major specials at BIG W, KMart, Chemists, Woolies, Coles, etcetera
In the case of Kmart, they are now cheaper than the Reject shop across a variety of basic items. Bunnings also have cheaper ranges at better quality.
You have a growth of the Japanese discount stores such as Daiso, who offer superior products at the same price range and you can add in other $2 shops whose offerings are similar or cheaper.

If you want something cheap  TRS is no longer the first place I'd be looking
