You need to get outside and look in their stores...its very easy, they have something like 350.
I worry about some of you guys. Singing the praises of TRS being so much cheaper than their competitors, when they really aren't.
For the type of store they are i'd expect them to be dazzling me with unusual remainder items, permanent low price on reasonable quality items, rotating stock, stock that surprises and tempts.
Instead its the same old same old, rarely surprising me.
Anyone on here can walk the aisles of The reject shop and then have a look in Aldi, Woolies, Coles, your local chemist. In my local shopping centre all of these places are close together.
Even Officeworks now has an entire budget range section down the middle of the aisle that blows TRS out of the water.
Similarly for Pet gear. Kmart or online sellers do it cheaper and better.
I prove my point multiple times a week by saving money and not buying at TRS, despite checking it out for price.
Yes i do buy some things at TRS...deodorant, toothpaste, Dove soap, air freshener but even these, I can source at Woolies or Coles (etcetera) for cheaper when they have half price specials
So, if it so easy to find similar priced items and cheaper items in so many other places, what is the appeal of TRS for consumers?
