Yes interesting article but the justification is one example and that was for copper - which I believe runs in seams - so a rock chip sample showing copper is probably always going to be a little so-so.

IO seems to run in channels, a completely different matter and besides, rock chips are intended to assist with locating drilling prospects. In this case I believe a the photo with 8m of IO visible at ground level can be a reasonable indication that IO exists on the tenement...
