Because it was used as a tactic to give time to some actors to think of their next step. The release of the money also came at the worst possible time for them: the day following a really good secote wide rally.
So they played a dirty trick: they shut us off early in the day, preventing the SP from raisong with the rest of the sector.
At the same time, they knew really well that the market wouldn't be impressed with the announcement being limited to "we got the money", and therefore the SP wouldn't rocket today either.
It was perfectly executed so the lid would remain on the SP.
