Almost nobody is doubting the utility of low-orbit nanosats.
The fact is there are a number of companies operating in this space and not all will survive. You need either first-mover advantage or deep pockets, or both.
SAS had the first but that is being eroded at a substantial rate of knots, and they have serious funding issues with even the first batch only a 'maybe' depending on US financiers. That gives SAS 16 sats in the sky with 34 more required to be self-funded as per previous announcements / interviews.
We're facing a global economic slowdown which will make access to credit tighter. SAS certainly have the technology, I really believe they do, but the other factors weigh heavily against it.
