Well, here are picastoc's super foods - black rice (newly entered into my most days' diet), pumpkin and sunflower seeds (eaten often), quinoa (less often than I should), beetroot (very often, almost daily), oats (every day, almost), almonds, avocado, fresh dates, brazil nuts (just a couple needed for selinium), cheese (good form of calcium but largely because I love cheese), mango (summer addiction), baked beans (made by me), kifir (for the gut health, dairy style or goat style, even better) carrots, tomatoes, asparagus, sweet potatoes, fish, fish, fish, and sardines, a little chicken, broccoli, and spinach. In winter, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, pumpkin, swedes, and white potatoes. Better still, encased in a homemade massive sized Cornish Pastie. Eaten hot and later, finished off, when it is cold. Home made pastry, of course. Lentils for winter, too.

I feel very super when I eat this way. Herein lies my lesson.

Just finished cooking another batch of the black rice (forbidden rice, once called, as in China only the aristocrats were permitted to access this).
