If any of you have read any of the transcripts of the trial, the judge could not have been clearer in pointing out to the jury that they were not to convict Pell based on who he is or the “sins of the church”

Also someone who is supposedly one of the best and most successful lawyers in the country had ample opportunity to cross examine the key witness.

Pell declined to be cross examined. His choice.

Remember, if the defence had successfully called into question anything at all, anything that made the jury doubt, Pell would have been not guilty.

To all the people saying “he’ll get off on appeal” well yes, maybe he will. But in the meantime, Pell was given every opportunity to defend himself and he failed.
