Also there is significantly more risk in GMC than the index.
An investor in the index takes on much less risk and the return has far outperformed GMC, which has actually gone backwards.
This is exactly what you would expect though from a company that has been saying DSO is imminent for over 3 years.
I think it's quite obvious why it hasn't yet been achieved.
The analogy are those that buy the lottery and claim to be about to win the jackpot this weekend. Never actually happens though...
