net selling...

I posted this on the wrong thread earlier...

Although a little better now, I still have to wonder who keeps offloading all that stock?

It has moved beyond mere "trader exits" this morning...and now we are seeing net selling from someone with plenty of stock.

Bond holders?

If they let it run they would be better off...but for now seem a little too aggressive for mine...selling to cap rather then retrieve maximum return.

Subtle but important difference.

If they wanted higher prices I reckon they could get them...easily...but this does not appear to be their goal.

I will likely hold off buying more now till this settles...a view I am sure many others would be adopting right now...purely because of the way the net selling is going down! Whether this be later today...tomorrow...who knows.

They are not after top dollar...just exit volume...which suggests to me they are not particularly interested in the health of the stock, just the reclamation of their funds from the last bond issue.

Understandable in a strictly business sense, but this sort of bloody minded net exit activity, as was seen in CVI with placements to Global, do not engender support from new entrants with a longer term view.

This is a really good story...but free-float profile on this occasion is getting in the way.
