Yes the yanks were under the French as well as the Poms.
Aussies sent 331,000 men during the whole war. Our casualties were 215,000 or 65%.
Yanks casualties were 234,000, out of an embarkation of 2 million men. I was wrong there on the total troops sent by the US.
But the US commitment was a fraction of British, French, German, Russian and Italian commitment.
I don't know much about you laughing hyena, but you obviously feel more empathy with the Yanks than with the Aussies. And now you fulfil the role of useful idiot and fifth columnist against our national interest.
