Bidders for wodgina would have had to gain approval for around A$1B.

If you missed out KDR is the next best and most comparable thing especially if you want to partner with a current industry major to derisk the investment. 

KDR is not openly being sold but imo losing wodgina bidders would be asking the question and using advisors.

so a 30 percent premium on the current share price gets us in the $1B zone.

If we get into an auction add another $200 to $300M.
