Scientists and anthropologists would most likely disagree with your points.

Regarding evolution of a society from a primitive stone age technology to the space age in the Western world, it's  possible to identify the drivers causing societies to change.

In the Western world and Asia there has been a clash of civilizations and constant warfare.

As a result populations either advanced or were destroyed  by invaders or were absorbed into dominant empires.

A series of empires dating back from as far back as 5 or so millenia meant the old world was constantly changing and evolving new technologies.

The Aboriginals were however a unique situation where a relatively small population arrived some 50, 000 years ago and spread over the continent.

Being closely related there was relatively little friction between tribes that evolved new languages and traditions over thousands of years.

These traditions had no serious reasons to change and in time the tribes established territories and trading routes.

As well tribes met in order to arrange marriages and pass on news.

But without any outside threats why should they form cities or fortifications like the old world when their lives were easy and well defined.

My opening post in the thread the perfect socialist society describes a life that was ideal and had no reason to change.
