I've experienced plenty of short term fluctuations on stocks and they have gone onto greatness. Others have folded under pressure.

Getswift's future is unwritten. I am in the red now on it but I was once heavily in the red on A2M and there were all sorts on HC bashing it saying it would never take off. Especially once A2 got into legal issues with Lion etc

Sometimes persistence pays off. Sometimes it doesn't. It is very difficult to judge.
